I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better hair and makeup artist for our wedding at Colshaw Hall.
From the very beginning, Elena Valentino was calm, organised and completely reassuring- which is exactly what you need on the morning of a wedding, especially a hastily arranged New Year’s Eve one. Nothing felt rushed, nothing felt stressful, and everything felt considered.
Elena absolutely nailed the brief. My makeup felt polished, timeless and elevated- I still looked like me, just the best version. It photographed beautifully, lasted all day and night (through hugs, happy tears and a late finish), and never felt heavy or overdone. My hair was exactly what I wanted, cut and coloured by Elena ahead of the day too, and held perfectly.
She also looked after everyone else effortlessly - all of my bridesmaids included, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and positive while delivering a really high-end finish across the board and multiple different looks from up dos to soft curls and hollywood waves.
If you’re getting married at Colshaw Hall (or anywhere, frankly) and want someone you can completely trust to deliver flawless results without adding any stress, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Elena.
